Why Do Some Animals Aging Faster Than Others?
For the first 20 years i was in this field, it never occurred to me that there were any interesting human applications. Because of my unusual background and all thes animals, one of the things that i've done is that i've studied a lot of different animals because of their unique aging properties. Why do some animals age quickly and some age slowly? And it's an interesting evolutionary question. We're really more like animals that live in the wild than we are like animals live in a box in the laboratory.
