The State Is the Synthesis Between Family and Civil Society

The state is the whole of society restructured into a quasi-religious, neo-tribal community in which the substitute for piety is fervent nationalism. The state takes up civil society into itself and both the family and civil society are alfghoban taken up into the unity of the state. Consider what the family brings us, community, warm relations, some of which we never asked for. Like one's Jewish mother, a deadly self-sacrifice,. now in the state becomes transformed into love for the fatherland.
