Researchers have been looking at ways to try and slow down, or even stop these processes. Re programming cells is one of the main thrusts of research that this new autos lab start up is going to be looking at. Other ideas include flushing senescent cells from the body - which are important for protecting against cancers as well as wound healing. And another way of doing this might be to try and get the immune system to work better.
