A Woman's Wife Comes Out With a Whisper

Pat's friend was the first person she knew who had been beat up by her husband. Pat couldn't believe there was nowhere for her friend to go. She and a few other women decided to raise money for a battered women's shelter. A plant sale helped them begin a women's resource center, a women's center, and a couple of rooms for battered women.
