Open up ABC Australia on YouTube and they have a 24 hour a day seven days a week broadcast that you can watch. A good exercise for you to do not just for your listening comprehension but the English language side of it as well. You're going to be learning about local issues right you're going to being hearing about news stories. The La Nina at the moment is causing all the rain and that's leading to all these floods so we've had a really shitty kind of history of building suburbs in areas that are floodplains. These houses are very prone to getting flooded as a result.
