The Karn Storyline - I'm a Carney, You Know?
Karn is explicitly a guy who wants to rise among the ranks of a fascist institution. The thing that I love about Karn is that he sucks more than almost anyone on television right now. He's living with his overbearing mom. His uncle Harlow is having to come in and help him get a job. And he just really wants to like work in law enforcement and like stop these people who are, you know, who disrespected the company. It's like the people that named their children Daenerys Targaryen before she's native Game of Thrones.
