The tip of your needle looks identical by and large on ultrasound to the rest of your needle. You really can't look at a still frame of some part of someone's needle and say, oh that's the tip or that's not. The only way to do this correctly is scrupulously every time you make a tiny advance of your needle until you're past yourtip.
