The Immortal Soul

C.S. Lewis begins his classic study on miracles by talking about a woman that he met, the only person he ever met who claimed to have seen a ghost. She categorically excluded the possibility of the immortal soul and so even seeing a ghost didn't change her opinion on that. The other reason Lewis begins with this story is to point out that our philosophical presuppositions set limits to how we interpret our experience and history. And then lastly, I want to say a thing or two about some other historical contextual issues that also contributes to why we should think Jesus actually rose from the dead.
