Whether to Sue to Block Kroger's $24.6 Billion Acquisition of Albertsons
Kroger announced a couple months ago it's going to buy Albertsons for almost $25 billion. Regulators and some of the public are concerned that the deal could basically concentrate the market in certain parts of the country where there aren't many stores. Kroger committed to not close stores distribution centers or manufacturing facilities as a result of the merger.
