The Importance of Praise

The justice of God is good news because he's the only one who can be trusted to use power perfectly. That even if we live in the world's most unjust society or we have experienced simply the worst pain and been totally victimized in the end it is God who sees it that will distribute justice. This week as it was in my annual Bible reading plan I was in first Kings my favorite story in the Old Testament. And so Elijah says this: Look you get all your prophets and all your priests and all your ball worshipers. You can meet me at Mount Carmel. He gets out his lawn chair, sits down, popcorn. No go ahead.
