When assessing suicidality in a person, it goes in layers thoughts of death. What she's kind of verbalizing is something we sort of call passive ideation. When you're assessing some someone being at the level of having thoughts passiveIdeations does not mean that they're immediately going to harm themselves. It means we need to take them very seriously, but they're not yet at the level where we would consider hospitalization. But for seeing someone like max processing grief, it's pretty common for people to reach the n where everything feels confusing. You can't look at a rainbow and see red. I useit all e time wit my clients. But i call grief like grief
