The reason we have a church is to share the saving love of Jesus Christ so that more people can come to experience salvation, the great gift of salvation. So it's meant to be in that sense an evangelizing document as everything we do in the church is meant to be evangelizing. That is sharing the truth and the beauty and the goodness of our faith so that others might be saved.
