Syria - Is the US Leaving Syria?
The US has about 1000 troops in Eastern Syria and they back the Kurdish led SDF. And this allows the US to control about one third of Syria. While on paper, the US presence in Syria is about fighting ISIS, the group barely has a foothold in the country. It really blows all in the whole narrative that if the US leaves Syria, they're abandoning the Kurds.
