What Does a Manager Do?

I think we intellectualize the day. I start playing the game in the morning and that's just part of it. The other part is obviously, you know, dealing with the personalities... There's so many different components to being a manager. How much do you think the manager actually matters when it comes to a team's win-loss record? It can kind of depend, honestly. A more veteran-laden team may have less of an impact because you're really going to permit these guys to just go out there and play.
