Around 350 to 400 million years ago, a meteorite entered our atmosphere and crashed to Earth. It landed on Turtle Island in what's now known as the province of Quebec. The area is an internationally protected UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve. But it hasn't been immune from attracting tragedy. A fisherman was fishing near Soto-Kashon when he saw a plane explode over his head.
