Elon Musk is probably the most public and outward of the current American billionaires. He's also a bit of an oddball is erratic, he has a very mercurial relationship with the establishment and the government. I think that he will suffer the same fate as Howard Hughes did when it comes to trying to raise money for his company SpaceX.
