The Importance of Pretending to Be Bisexual
This is the career of an entertainer, not a musical artist. Bowie wrote the entire playbook that Madonna would come along and use later. Even if you weren't to apply our current views on these things retroactively, it's just still fucked up thing to do. It was messed up at the time. And then the other thing, I don't think that there is any evidence that anyone can show me that David Bowie caused gay people to become more accepted. Doesn't get any clearer than that.
