Is There a Danger in Modeling Human Language?
I think there is a potential danger in terms of whether people understand the intos, applying it in practice. There's definitely huge improvements that hane been made with these large language models. But i think we need to be really careful about questions which are not necessarily technical questions like how do we apply the hugging fix library? I think kate crawford put it very well. She said that bias is a social issue first and a technical issue second. E, and i think the danger is if people are too confident in what they know and aren't aware of the bigger picture.
