Jim Bowie Drinks Throughout the Election

Jim Bowie was considered to be a pretty good combat commander in the Battle of San Felipe. He tried to ingratiate himself into Sam Houston so that he can hopefully get appointed to be in charge of the army. But by the time he and Houston actually meet for the first time,Bowie is dead drunk. The vote goes against him because his fellow soldiers don't like him.
