We're Living in Difficult Times Right Now
The Lord has set the stage by giving us these books of First and Second Maccabees to be able to say, okay, this is the context now in which God himself breaks into the world in a completely new way. That's so amazing. And I guess I would leave you with this, we're living in difficult times right now. People are looking for a brighter future and someone to trust. Even though politics might not look like what you want it to be and social issues might not be exactly where you would want them, know this. God has a plan of sheer goodness,. We're going to see that God will prevail.
