i love what paul gilbert says, it's not your fault. We all want to grow, but that can be very hard work. And i think you see that with charlotte in the book, where there's so much of her re enacting things from her past. She really wanting to find a parental figure in me and in other people - abdicating responsibility for her life as a young adult. Now, that's what the work book is about. It's about taking you to that place of really doing.
