These are sometimes dubbed city killers. If one hit a populated area it could flaten a city, create a huge airburst explosion. They really an event that i think would be remembered throughout history as one of the great catastrophes on earth. But for right now, kelly tells us that at the rate we're going we'll probably find all of these within 30 years.

Scientists are constantly searching for asteroids that could crash into Earth. But if they find one, will they be able to do anything about it? NASA has launched a spaceship that will slam into an asteroid to find out.
