Exoplanet Science - Is There Life Beyond Earth?

Sarah Seager is an exoplanet scientist. She uses space telescopes and computer programs to analyze data from planets orbiting other stars. At the moment we have no evidence that there is intelligent alien life out there or life of any kind beyond earth. But while we haven't yet discovered extraterrestrial life Sarah's use of new space telescopes, devices floating out in space and sending signals back to earth has confirmed what was once merely the dreams of ancient philosophers and astronomers.
