The Conflict Between Doctors and the Wellness Industry
There's been a bit of a clash between doctors in the wellness industry. I think that if you've got the right PR campaign and you can make something look glossy and lovely, then you can market anything, can't you? There is definitely this called natural is better rhetoric, which isn't always the truth. And one of the things I try to do in this podcast is direct people towards what I think are trusted sound resources for expert information. It does take time for new evidence to come into the guidelines. But it's really important not to abuse your position as a doctor.
