We Were a New Convert, but Not Totally Mormon Wedding, Right?
We counselled with our bishop, who was one of our close friends. And we came to the conclusion that no, we shouldn't start our family by alienating hers. That broke my mam's heart. We've been married for 17 years now. She has like the best laugh in the world. I still remember her crying when we broke the news to her that we wouldn't be married in the temple right away.
