The Social Mediam Companies Are Fighting the Last War

Twitter, Facebook and other social media companies are fighting the last war against conspiracy theories. This is a failure of the imagination of the people who run these companies to not look at this and say, how is this going to be misused? The fact that they don't seem to have the impetus to do it is very troubling to me.
