Hypocalcema - What's Going On?
Some forms of gatalinium can actually cause the calcium assay to be falsely low. These patients, especially the hypertryclus or edemic patients, will cause hypo calcema. Alkolosis, either respiratory or metabolic, can decrease your calcium levels. And finally, getting back to the theory of electroltic disray: whenever one electrolit is wrong, it kind of causes the seno ripple effect.
