C++: The Future of Programming

The main thing I'm missing kids when doing C++ is actually all the tooling and control over whatever is happening in the program so it starts from source based tooling. You basically can write half of your code by just pressing shortcuts and it's a double thing for you. The debuggers works way better and you can have reasonable memory snapshots where can you just get a snapshot of your application inspect all the objects we saw the fields and see how they are related to each other.
