Introduction

K3ZO Alfred Halberd Loughn III of Tempo Hills, Maryland passed away last week. On December 15th, Fred became ill and was soon taken to Enova Fairfax Hospital. He had both an infection and COVID and his condition worsened as time progressed. In 1973, while working in Cordoba, Argentina, Fred was shot and kidnapped by Marxist Gorillas. Our prayers are with Fred's family.
