I think spinoza is giving what doesn't look like a prescriptive or normatively rich account, because it's so descriptive. But i think that when you ask the question of, like, what is this book trying to do, like, why did he write this? That gives us, icat a meta level, a sense for how there is a normative project. Ei, think it's just trying toe render explicit for us that these things are true, so that we can more actively and explicitly pursue them. Ra, but like now, almost every one of these propositions can be read as like a a, as like it imperative, in a sense, like his.
