Myth of the Month 10: Who Was Shakespeare? -- pt. 2: "Comfort and Despair"
Historiansplaining: A historian tells you why everything you know is wrong
What Is Shakespeare Saying About These Relationships?
After one 16, you get only ten more sonnets to the young man. Many of them on the same sort of themes and using the same kind of images. And they end, as i said before, with sonnet number one 26, which is different from the others. It deals explicitly with death, right with time coming again with his sickle to cut us down. So that's my over view of what we can see about these relationships and what shakespeare is saying about them. After this i will also produce a segment about the so called authorship controversy, and the question of whether sh Shakespeare wasn't really shakespeare.
