In this study, forty five patients with depression were randomized to placibo or probiotic. And after 30 days, the probiotic group had improved mood. The next study was a systematic review and metanalysis looking at lectbacilus acidophylis for treating acute gastronteritus in children. A really important finding there, that probitics can protect against some of the changes in the microbiome that we see from pepis or acid suppression medication.
