What Do You Take Away From Georgia's Turnout?
Nikki Wallis: It's worth sitting for a second with how remarkable it is that Georgia has a Jewish and a Black senator, both Democrats. Wallis: Huge turnout in a state where there have been repeated campaigns for voter suppression. Warnock has outperformed Ossoff when he ran back in 2020 and he outperformed Stacey Abrams in 2022. But if you think about the kind of ossification that's been happening in the upper echelons of the Democratic Party, having people who voters are excited about can win races.
