There is no single way of obtaining these lambdas and different criteria can bring you to different lambdas depending upon the purpose that you have for that particular transformation. It harkens back to something that we talked about before, sexy Hulk versus rage Hulk. There were some proposals made where you choose Lambda in a grid search that maximizes the mapping of your transformed variable onto a normal distribution.
