Friendship is born of and fed by and leads to virtue, says Eme. Aristotle talks about a friendship of a pleasure - it's the person you like to hang out with. But in a real friendship, a friendship of virtue, i want what's best for the friend. I rejoice in my friend attaining virtue, and he rejoices in my attainment virtue. That's the real mc coy, that's the real thing, and i think that is suffering in our culture."
