The Background Story to Samuel

Lamanites and nephites are basically a family, ye a family that's been isolated and divided over a per to several hundred years. And so the unity that once existed between lamanite and nephitic has now been wrecked. You know, we have to go back to the metaphor of that wall. You levites have built this wall of superiority, and poor samuel has to climb up on top of it,. Trying to conquer that, and trying to just break that down. By reminding everyone that we're all children of god, we have the same connection through atonement.
