Camera Traps in the Serengetti National Park

The serengete is home to 700 species of birds, 50 species of large mammals that are traversing around the greater serin ecosystem. Climate and agricultural change, as well as illegal poaching are all having a growing impact on the local ecosystem. About a decade ago, ecologists installed devices known as camera traps across a one thousand, 200 square kilometer area of serengetti national park. Camera traps are small remote cameras. We can strap hem to a tree and leave them running for months or even years.
