Illegal emigration has been a problem for decades, as you say, in american politics. And there won't ever be any significant immigration reform until you can get by partisan agreement on it. The stunt of sending these people to martha's vineyard and washington doesn't address that fundamental problemAny more than the democrats have been addressing it under joe byden. But i don't think you're quite right. I mean, of course they do need computer programmers and high skilled people,. but the economy of california and some other states in the southwest would collapse without emmigrants picking the fruit or doing agricultural work.
