I think it's potentially devastating. It was so interesting to talk to julia baird, who wrote a brilliant biography of queen vict oh, i love that. But she almost gave up the project because she couldn't get access to the letters. He knew that the letters were really af the game, if not more so. I mean, mary gordon posits in the book that there won't be any more of what we call the papers of famous writers.
