Alpha Power and Neural Tracking

The researchers found that alpha power, as it's also present before the audio starts, is sort of implementing a filter. So if you are either as a person or in a given moment implementing a strong alpha filter, it should also be predictive of how strongly your neural tracking works. But when it comes to predicting whether or not you get a trial correct, it turns out that alpha is surprisingly unhelpful.
