The Importance of Solitude and Time in the Creative Process

For a long time we had a vision of sort of creativity or a vision of knowledge work that had space for essentially for inspiration. But now there's this sense that creative work does not need individuals so much as collective action. We've lost touch with the idea that an important part of creative work happens by one self and that learning to work that way is just as important for creatives as working with others.
