How Can I Create a Storyline About a Body I Don't Exist In?
I think it's very understandable when we have multiple layers of privilege to struggle with these growing pains and waking up and understanding bigger social justice issues. All that is being asked is there are those of us who already have seats at tables. They're just asking if they can come sit down with us. And I feel like that is such a small ask and it's as simple as holding a door open. It's not our place to speak for anybody. It's to allow them space to speak for themselves and to listen.
