The Importance of Fear in Government
Fear is an important component, and something that we talk about, not only in this book, but also within our previous book. And on top of that, the idea like reinforcing fear, because i guess a lot of this stuff does not necessarily work. You know, creating a society where people are, in fact, scared of lots of things seems to be one functions as well. So fear makes people more permissive of things which would have been non permissible, or would have been inconscionable in other circumstances.
