The 80s and Cocaine - It's Like a Time Machine
Cocaine is a cultural, almost historical idea to me. I think about it in terms of just as you said, a lot of people in the 80s like getting zuted. There are actors in movies who even if they are not explicitly using it, you feel like it's either in their future or it's in the subtext of the story. And then there's the people behind the scenes who are using cocaine and making art. It created some of the greatest art in American movie history.
