The Nervous Walk to a Park
It was the summer before I was going to college, and I mostly live with my mom and Kira. It wasn't uncommon for Kira and I to be left home alone until 8 or 9 p.m. Even though we could have walked them down our street, Kira and I decided to drive out 20 minutes to a park instead. This park isn't very big, but it's popular because of its loop.
