The Importance of Meditating on the Scriptures
Moses Joshua and then Elijah, Elijah, and then the John the Baptist Jesus thing seems to be a series of significant. I think we're going to see a lot of chasms in the book of Joshua. In some ways, Joshua is kind of like the New Testament of the Old Testament. The whole that Joshua plays in Israel's history at this point in kind of the development of the covenants is typological. It foreshadows the work that Jesus ultimately does in the work of the New Covenant.
