How to Attract Consulting Clients
I've said facetiously in the past that the way to get consulting clients is to meet a bunch of people and wait 10 years, which is tongue in cheek, but it's also totally true. One thing that also seems true is like speaking and writing really increases your visibility and that is a way to get your name out there and attract consulting clients. You know for me personally but you know we've also found that not everything I write has any effect that we're able to perceive. Not people who don't write or speak at all are able to build these fantastic networks just by probably being more amiable, delightful people to be around than I am.
