I don't know if this, if COVID was like engineered in a lab by the Chinese or the Communist Party. I do think that a lot of it is like, it's self-inflicted because our society has no longer accepted the notion of death. And so we now think that like one death is too many; historically, that's just unheard of. But I also think that maybe interest rates are related to it, right? If you're at 0% interest rates, that means you think you're going to live forever and you don't have any time preference between today and tomorrow. All of these are interrelated.
