The Double-Faceness of the Ideological Regime in Bulgaria
Bulgarian state granted scholarships and so many young people from this kind of emerging post-colonial locales came to Eastern Europe including Bulgaria to study. We also educated some of the most visible leaders of the anti-colonial movements in Kenya and other countries even though political elites that they in these countries are educated in Eastern Europe. All of these non-white kind of migrants and persons who came to Bulgaria however were not welcomed and very often they were also subjected to racialized violence, to prejudice, to exclusion, to marginalizations.
