What's Happening at Pepsi?

In 1981, the inflation rate that year was still 10.3%. And then in 1982, it fell, but it was still 6.13%. We didn't make major, major headway until 1983 when we had 3.2% inflation. In fact, the CPI in the last 12 months is actually higher than the 13.5% from 1980. That probably reflects what's going on with inflation because Pepsi doesn't want to raise prices. It's trying not to.
